Blueprint printing prices
Per-sheet pricing, no minimum order, and no setup, file, or rush fees. 24″ × 36″ (ARCH D) is $2.00 per sheet black-and-white on 20# bond. Volume discount comes off automatically on sheets of one size — 10% at 25+, 15% at 100+, 20% at 250+. UPS Ground is $15 flat and free over $100. Order by 12:00 PM Eastern on a business day and it ships the same day.
Every sheet size
Color is billed per page, not per set. Choose “color only where it appears” on the order form: after upload every page is checked in your browser, the pages with color bill at the color rate and the rest at B&W. A 48-sheet set with 12 color MEP sheets pays color on 12, not 48.
Two color rates. Color, line work is a drawing with color on it — color-coded MEP, red markups, a logo in the title block. Color heavy (heavy coverage) is a page with ink on 12%+ of the sheet, or any rendering or photo about 3 × 3 in or larger — colored elevations, filled site plans, aerials. A logo in the title block stays at the line-work rate. The same scan that finds color measures coverage, so only the pages that actually use the ink pay the heavy rate.
B&W heavy coverage. A page printed in black-and-white bills the B&W heavy rate, $3.95 on ARCH D instead of $2.00, when it has grey-scale ink on 15%+ of the sheet — a rendering, photo or shaded presentation board. The same scan checks every page billed at the B&W rate when the file can be read in the browser, and looks at a borderline page again, in more detail, before it counts. Line-work plans, sections, details, notes sheets and hatched elevations stay at the B&W rate; a sheet printed over an aerial photo or with large solid fills can count.

Questions
How much does East Coast Blueprints charge to print blueprints?
Black-and-white on 20# bond: $1.25 per sheet for 18″ × 24″ (ARCH C), $2.00 for 24″ × 36″ (ARCH D), $3.00 for 30″ × 42″, and $2.99 for 36″ × 48″ (ARCH E). Full color on line work (colour-coded MEP, markups) is $4.75 on ARCH D; pages with heavy ink coverage — renderings, coloured elevations, filled site plans — are $8.95, and the order form tells the two apart page by page. A rendering, photo or shaded board covering a large part of the sheet and printed in black-and-white is $3.95 on ARCH D (B&W heavy coverage); line-work plan, detail and notes sheets stay at $2.00. Volume discounts come off automatically on sheets of one size: 10% at 25+, 15% at 100+, 20% at 250+. UPS Ground is $15 flat and free over $100.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. There is no setup fee, file-handling fee, rush fee, minimum order, or file-storage fee. Same-day shipping before noon Eastern is the standard service, not a paid upgrade. The only additions to the per-sheet price are finishing, if you choose it, and shipping.
How does the volume discount work?
The discount steps up with quantity on one size: 10% at 25+, 15% at 100+, 20% at 250+. It applies per size, not across the whole order — so 8 copies of a 50-sheet ARCH D set is 400 sheets on one line, which earns the top tier on all of it. Sets count: 5 copies of a 20-sheet set is 100 sheets.
What does shipping cost?
$15 flat for UPS Ground to one address, free once printing passes $100. UPS Next Day Air is the real UPS rate for your ZIP and package weight, from $59, with no markup — you see it at checkout once you enter the ZIP. Additional addresses on the same order are $15 each on Ground; on Next Day each address is priced separately. Up to 20 addresses.
Do you price-match?
We do not run a formal price-match, and we are open about the fact that some online printers list a lower per-sheet price. What we compete on is a noon Eastern cutoff with same-day shipping, scale accuracy we guarantee in writing, and multi-address distribution included rather than quoted.
