How long does blueprint printing take?
With East Coast Blueprints, a plan set paid by noon Eastern on a business day prints and ships that afternoon, and UPS Ground delivers it the next business day from New York to Washington DC and Northern Virginia. Connecticut, Boston, Albany and Richmond are about two days by Ground, or next morning by UPS Next Day Air at the real UPS rate, from $59.
The cutoff is the clock. Orders paid by 12:00 PM Eastern on a business day ship the same day; orders after noon ship the next business day. Weekends and UPS holidays do not count as business days.
Printing itself is fast. A wide-format plotter prints a 24×36 sheet in well under a minute, so even a 200-sheet set is a same-day job. The time that matters is shipping.
Hitting a deadline. Count back from the date the set must be on the counter: one business day of Ground inside the next-day band, plus the noon cutoff. If that is too tight, choose Next Day Air at checkout. The order form shows the estimated delivery date for your ZIP before you pay.
